Gianfranco Zola joins England 2018 World Cup bid

West Ham manager and football legend Gianfranco Zola has joined England's 2018 bid to host the World Cup.

A squad of current and former football super stars are being built up by the England 2018 team to show the diversity and strength behind the English bid. The ambassadors include Zola, Toure, Santa Cruz, Kalou and Kanu.

On May 18th David Beckham, Wayne Rooney and PM Gordon Brown came together at London's Wembley Stadium to official launch the bid to host the World Cup in 2018. If the bid is successful it will be the first time the cup has been to England since the historic win 1966.
